A family on Kauai is mourning the loss of 21-year-old Mason Saio, who was fatally shot by police Friday night. And, they want answers. Police say just after 10:30 p.m., they found Saio sitting in a car with two guns. When he got out of the car, he threw a rifle towards police officers and then pointed a shotgun at them. They fired, killing Saio. Saio's parents want a full investigation. Meanwhile, Saio was scheduled to stand trial August 26th on assault and robbery charges for an incident in January 2012 at a Koloa gas station and convenience store in which a clerk was injured. Three other defendants made plea deals. A December trial ended with a hung jury and a mistrial was declared.
